Overview
aldwaneviegan.com is a personal portfolio and long-term progress record operated by Aldwane Layton Bayaras Viegan. This website is designed to minimize unnecessary collection of visitor data.
Public content
Public Projects and Progress Logs may be viewed without creating an account. Private Goals are restricted to the authenticated owner area and are not included in public pages, public search, public metadata, feeds, or public-facing APIs.
Privacy-conscious analytics
The site may count page views and estimate daily unique visitors without permanently storing ordinary visitors' raw IP addresses. For daily uniqueness, the application can derive a one-way keyed hash from the date, IP address, and user agent. That hash rotates by day and is not intended to identify a person across days.
Security logs
Full IP addresses, timestamps, user agents, and relevant event metadata may be retained for owner-account security events such as login attempts, two-factor authentication events, password changes, recovery-code usage, and trusted-device activity. These records are private to the authenticated owner.
Cookies
The public site does not require advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. Authentication uses strictly necessary session cookies. A trusted-device cookie may be created only after the owner explicitly chooses “Remember this device” and successfully completes two-factor authentication.
External links and services
Public records may link to external websites. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. The optional Improve Writing tool is available only in the private owner area and sends text to the configured AI service only after the owner actively requests improvement.

A dedicated public contact page is not part of the current site design. This policy may be updated when the website's functionality or data practices change.
